We make a front disc brake conversion kit for every Corvair. These
kits are simple to install and include everything you need to do a professional
conversion. (Some kits require turning of your hub, but that is easily done
on a typical brake lathe).
IMPORTANT NOTES - We highly suggest that
you also purchase our dual master cylinder conversion kit for 1962-66 Corvairs.
This is to assure correct proportioning in the system. We do not recommend
these kits for 1960-61 Corvairs because their unique master cylinder design
is not easily replaced with a dual conversion.
KITS INCLUDE - calipers, rotors, adaptor plates, brake hoses and necessary
hardware. 1965-69 13" kits also include new hubs. On the 1962-65 FC kits
we include a dual conversion kit, plus an anti-flowback valve and a proportioning
valve because we believe that the system absolutely requires the use of these.
