Carburetor Rebuild Kits

We have three different kits depending on how bad your carburetor is and how much you want to spend. All come with the finest materials money can buy! Each kit is for one carb.

Gaskets Only Kit: This is just the gaskets for times when you want to take the top off the carb and change jets etc. KIT INCLUDES bowl gasket, venturi gasket, and fuel inlet gaskets.

Minor Carb Kit: This is similar to the kind of rebuild kit you would get at your local auto parts store. KIT INCLUDES same as Gasket Only Kit listed above PLUS needle and seat, discharge needle, throttle pump, side idle vent valve and assorted clips. This is our most popular kit.

Even More Minor Carb Kit: Exactly the same as the Minor Carb Kit but it does not have the complete throttle pump. It just has the pump cup.

Major Carb Kit: This is the real kit! A Corvair Underground exclusive - this kit contains everything that you really need to do a carb rebuild. KIT INCLUDES the same as the kits listed above PLUS gas filter, gas filter spring, correct mounting insulator, accelerator spring, air cleaner to carb gasket, vacuum pulloff, pulloff hose, and fast idle lever. Last 3 items in kit U-3695 only.

Turbo Carb Kit: This kit is a regular internal rebuild kit that includes pump, needle and seat, needle and check ball (both types provided), and all gaskets, including mounting gasket.

Carb Crosshaft Bearing Block Kit

This kit has been completely re-designed to make installation much easier. No cutting or drilling required! Use this kit to tighten up sloppy crosshafts, as the factory made no provision for bearings. Kit has enough parts for 2 carburetors.

Throttle Shaft Seal Kit

This handy kit help seal out air leaks and contamination on all but the most worn shafts. Also keeps gas fumes where they belong too. Air leaks around the throttle shafts can cause pinging at "start off" (especially in automatic trans cars) and even poor idle (or idle that is too fast). KIT INCLUDES enough parts for 2 carbs. 4 springs, 4 washers, 4 Viton o-rings, and instructions. We also now include 4 new throttle shaft screws.

Carburetor Tune-Up Superkits

Carburetors and the linkages are high wear items. If you're going to rebuild both carbs, then give this superkit serious consideration! Kit includes 2 major carb kits (4 kits for 140HP kit), 1 throttle shaft seal kit (2 for 140HP kit), and 2 new throttle shafts (4 for 140HP kit). Also includes all necessary mounting gaskets.
