REBUILT CORVAIR COMPONENTS

Corvair Underground has spent the last 3 1/2 decades rebuilding Corvair parts. Distributors, starters, alternators, carburators, blower covers, idlers, turbochargers, distributors - even complete engines.

Why buy a rebuilt component from the Underground? Because we know Corvairs - All we do is Corvairs - We have the reputation and the experience to back this up! You might be able to get a cheaper deal from somewhere else,  but you'd probably be surprised if you knew the corners that are cut by most rebuilders. 

Did you know that it's common in the electrical rebuilding industry to re-use bearings, and even brushes, if they meet a "minimum" standard? We replace nearly all parts with new - always!

Did you know that big rebuilders of distributors list only one or two part numbers for all Corvairs, even though there are over 40 different combinations? - Each distributor we rebuild is precisely tailored to your year, horsepower and transmission type. Even the numbers on the housing are correct.

By now we think you get the idea. Oh yes, all our rebuilds come with the usual Corvair Underground warranty of one year. Many rebuilders don't even offer warranties any longer.

DISTRIBUTORS

Our rebuilt distributors are an unmatched  value! We start with the correct housing and make certain all internal components are a correct match for your year, horsepower, transmission type.

All Underground distributors have double new oilite bushings installed and custom hand fitted to each shaft

Rebuilt distributors are available without (Basic) points plate, with (Basic plus) Underground rebuilt points plate, or with a new Pertronix electronic Ignitor.

Note that all rebuilt distributors have a core charge in addition to the rebuilding charge.
